Thermal mass flow instruments for laboratory and production applications
Thermal flowmeters use the thermal properties of the fluid to measure the flow of the fluid flowing . A known amount of heat is applied via a heater to the flowing fluid. The resultant temperature rise is measured by a temperature sensor upstream. The temperature rise is dependent on the thermal properties of the fluid and the flow rate.
Once the thermal properties are known then the Mass flow rate can be calculated by the instrument.
Thermal Mass flow meters offer a reliable and dependable method to measure mass flow for a known fluid.
